The storyline of “Valley of the Gods” is as captivating as it is complex. The movie follows two parallel narratives that eventually converge: that of John Ecas (Josh Hartnett), a writer struggling to come up with his next novel, and that of Wes Tauros (John Malkovich), a billionaire eccentric who lives in a massive mansion perched on a hill overlooking Monument Valley.
